Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education, and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. Throughout all of our programmemes, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves. After retiring from international competition Vince transitioned straight into coaching and working through his coaching awards, quickly becoming one of the first people in the country to achieve and MSc in coaching. During his MSc he focused on long term athlete development which looks at how children enter the sport and their journey to elite level and or long term recreational involvement within the sport. Vince has coached athletes to Youth Olympics, u18 World & European Championships.
Sam has travelled the world competing for Great Britain and knows what it takes to be successful. Since retiring from elite level competition Sam has been focussed on developing Fighting Fitness Judo into one of the best judo clubs in the country. Creating an excellent member experience, building new development courses, finding new opportunities for members to train compete and travel!

Tony came back to judo as an adult after watching how much his children were enjoying their classes. Tony started training with Vince over 10 years ago and has worked hard to achieve his black belt and coaching awards. Tony has a unique experience of judo (and life) and brings this energy to his classes, affectionally known as T-Dog by many!

Becky once again started her judo journey as an adult and overcome many difficulties to achieve her black belt, she truly challenges people’s perception of what can be done! Becky assists on a variety of classes and events helping coaches and members alike!

Alice manages all enquiries and ensures everyone experiences a smooth introduction to Fighting Fitness Judo. Having children who attend Fighting Fitness Judo she is well equipped to answer questions as a parent and as a team member.

Abbas started judo at Fighting Fitness Judo through the Surrey Youth Games. He progressed through our Junior Leadership Academy and then after school decided he wanted to take the next step on his judo journey to join our Coach Development Programme. Abbas is now an integral part of the coaching team.
