Wow, what a weekend!

Wow, what a weekend!

Most weekends are busy for us, but this weekend was even busier than usual.

At our Woking Dojo, we had nine classes over the weekend for children aged from 3 years to 17 years old. Which is always great fun.

On top of that, we took our young (aged 7 – 12) Comp Squad to Belgium for their first international competition of the year! And it was such a great experience for the children.

At the tournament, our team achieved four 1st places, four 2nd places and three 4th places. But honestly, the results were the least important part for the children. They travelled, played and supported each other as a team.

Building friendships which will last a lifetime!

For us, as coaches, it was great to see all the children overcome their nerves, doubts and fears to step on the mat and compete. That takes real resilience. And the oldest child was 12 years old!

We are proud of the opportunities we can create for all children at Fighting Fitness Judo.

From life skills to international competition to junior leaders. There is a pathway for everyone who wants to start their judo journey.

Here is a picture of the team with their medals from Belgium! As you can see they had a great time!
