Did you know teaching your child about responsibility is like teaching them how to be a superhero?
How? … I hear you ask.
Well, let me explain.
We’ve developed our SuperKids Life Skills programme for our students.
The SuperKids Life Skills Programme is about so much more than judo. It is a fun way to learn how to make good choices, work hard and be healthy and happy!
… and for this cycle, the value is Responsibility.
This means over the next 6 weeks. The children must think about being responsible and taking responsibility for their actions at home, school and judo.
Which is important for their development.
But we have to explain this value to children as young as 3.
So when our team sat down to discuss responsibility, we knew we had to make it really simple and frame it so the children could understand.
And this is what we come up with …
How did we do? … we thought it was cool, and it has helped us explain responsibility to the children.
But more importantly, we are helping children to be their very own superhero.
Judo is more than an activity in which children participate once a week.
Our aim is Developing Champions for Life, not just on the mats but off of them too.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and we hope you agree children have the power to be super, all they need is a little help.
